The Central Area Recycling Exchange

What Does C.A.R.E. Do?

        C.A.R.E. does 2 important things:

bullet Recycles all types of office paper, computer forms and aluminum cans.
bullet Provides job skill training (sorting and processing of recyclables) for adults with developmental disabilities.  It provides them an opportunity to earn a paycheck and become self-sustaining citizens of the community.

Why is this so important?

Because, with your participation, along with others which include businesses in the Omaha area, C.A.R.E. is able to provide job skill training for adults who are developmentally disabled.

Because, for them it’s a job!  It’s a paycheck!  It’s a place to work and be recognized for what they do.  By processing the recyclable materials, it helps them to become self-sufficient citizens in our community.
