Our Motto:  Remember to Recycle with C.A.R.E.

bullet

Different grades of paper are sorted and recycled by persons working at C.A.R.E.

The recycling volume and the program continues to grow . . . . Security Shredding is the most recent operation at C.A.R.E.

Currently, 45 persons receive work skill training at the center.

Over 200 Businesses and organizations participate in the program.

C.A.R.E. received a grant that enabled them to purchase an industrial bailer and shredder.  This provided C.A.R.E. the opportunity to expand it's security shredding operations.

Routes for pick-up of businesses donating a designated amount of paper per week have been developed.  A 24-hour drop off box is available at CARE so that everyone can participate in recycling.

The Benefits of the CARE program continue to help and serve the community:

The human benefits include an increase in the number of persons served by ENCOR who receive vocational training, earn a wage and develop their independent skills.

Natural resources and landfill space is conserved when valuable materials are reused and recycled instead of “wastefully” buried in landfills.
